Computers

The human is the most complex piece of machinery ever built. Our brain is a lightning fast processor, fully incorporated with an advanced AI unit. We can adapt to any situation quickly and efficiently. As we learn, our hard drives grow to account for the expansion of knowledge. We may become ill, just like modern computers do. We have a unique instinct to survive, to survive at all costs. Our eyes are a high definition camera that has the best facial recognition software with a camera and a camcorder built right into our brains, that saves right into our short-term and long-term memory. Our ears are high quality microphones, interlaced with a sound recognition software that also saves onto our memory. Our mouths are the speakers of the machine. So efficient we are, that we require no or method of recharging energy from an external outlet. We get energy from eating food items and breathing air so we can keep our brain and other systems going throughout the day, which is why we need blood and the heart. We need to drink to supply for other fluids such as mucus and humid lungs so we can breathe, also to get rid of toxins created by other bodily functions. We need a way to get rid of the excrement created by drinking fluids and eating food, therefore the excretory system. Some of these food items can contaminate or corrupt our other bodily functions, so here we have taste buds to detect if something tastes different. Foul smelling air is often damaging to our hardware, so now we require smell. Our skin is mandatory to help us get out of situations that might cause us to discontinue functioning. The hard drive must maintain itself for many years, so the processor first sorts through all impending memories and discards the ones that are not important. If a file is not accessed in a long time, it is automatically deleted for more space in the future. All these processes going on at once causes us to get slow, groggy, and uncoordinated at the end of the day. To refresh our minds, we enter a period of sleep, where only some parts of the brain still functions. We even have a bodily system to recreate new pieces of machinery. Our knowledge becomes so extensive that we can create less advanced technology. We can even transport ourselves quickly, in a time of emergency, or slowly, when there is no immediate danger.

There is a possibility that aliens have visited us, except, none of us ever knew about it. The whole time, emotions are not necessary for our survival. What if that was a glitch in the system? What if we weren't here because of evolution? What if we were created by these extremely advanced species, and every other animal is another one of their creations, some that have the processes and features we humans have, others that do not? What if planet Earth is just another wasteland for experiments, to see which "species" would become the best? What if Chinese, the oldest language known, was spoken by these aliens, and all other languages we created by ourselves? What if we are their latest creations, and the most perfect so far? What if they build something better than us?

What if we are all computers?
